Dr. Calen Bruner is a dedicated optometrist at Professional Family Eyecare. He specializes in primary eye care, elder eye care, and ocular surface diseases. His high academic achievement and compassionate enthusiasm for giving patients a great experience makes him a valued addition to the team.
Education
& Experience
Dr. Calen Bruner, O.D., received his biology degree from Anderson University before earning his Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry, where he developed a keen interest in treating ocular surface diseases. After graduation, he was excited to return home to Greenville, Ohio, where he could provide outstanding eye care to his friends, family, and neighbors.
Today, Dr. Bruner enjoys providing relief to the community and helping his fellow staff provide high-quality, full-scope eye care. To this day, his favorite patient story is a woman’s eye misalignment he helped fix with prism glasses — the self-esteem boost and relief she felt after having her vision restored is what Dr. Bruner wants for all his patients.

Get to Know Dr. Bruner
When Calen isn’t busy serving patients, he is exploring his adventurous side. He is an avid sports fan and loves spending time outdoors fishing and hunting. The rest of his time is spent with his wife and dog in Greenville, where he currently resides.
